Gráinne Daly is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and holds postgraduate degrees from Liverpool John Moores University and University College Dublin. Gráinne was awarded a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship for her doctoral research project that examines the literary architecture of the sporting site in Irish fiction. ​ Gráinne's work has won awards and has been published in numerous journals and anthologies. She has been a grateful recipient of awards from the Arts Council of Ireland and received residencies from Offaly County Council and Greywood Arts Centre in Killeagh, Co. Cork. She is a member of the Writers Guild of Ireland and the Irish Writers Union. ​ She teaches creative writing in Castleknock Community College and in University College Dublin.
